Projects in Omni AI Companion
Projects gives ongoing work a home instead of making every conversation carry the whole story. Use one when a goal has recurring context, reference material, decisions, or a growing set of conversations that you want to find together.
What changed
A durable place for a goal
Create or choose a project and keep the related work together. The project boundary makes it easier to return to a campaign, course, renovation, or personal plan without reconstructing the premise each time.
Context with a purpose
Add the instructions, notes, and source material that genuinely help the work. A focused project is more useful than a catch-all drawer full of unrelated ideas.
Why this feature matters
Long-running work loses momentum when its important details are scattered across tabs and memory. Projects gives the work a recognizable doorway and a place where the current question can be understood alongside the bigger objective.
It also supports a healthier separation between kinds of work. A creative brief, a class assignment, and a personal trip can each have their own vocabulary and starting point, making it easier to switch roles without carrying every detail into the next conversation.
Feature examples and use cases
- A client campaign: A freelancer keeps a brief, audience notes, draft directions, and review questions together while shaping a campaign.
- A course companion: A learner gathers reading notes and practice questions in one project for a semester-long subject.
- A home renovation: A homeowner keeps room measurements, style decisions, and shopping questions together while planning one renovation.
How to use it
- Open Projects: Use the Projects area in the sidebar and choose New Project or an existing project.
- Give it a useful brief: Name the outcome, audience, constraints, and reference material that should guide future work.
- Return through the project: Keep related conversations there and refresh the brief when a decision changes the direction.
Tips for a better first try
- Use a specific name that tells you the outcome.
- Put stable context in the project and one-off questions in a conversation.
- Review old notes before adding new instructions.
Limitations and things to know
- A project does not remove the need to verify that its context is current.
- The controls and amount of material available may differ by account and device.
Availability
